    shes giving me a headache...
    todays plan:
    oil change
    fix obd2 port
    fix airbag light
    fix heated seat

    what happened:
well i dont have my car jack, someone borrows it a month ago, i told hi i needed it back 2 weeks ago... so i had to borrow 1 off another friend that lives closer. my car is lowered and his jack is smaller and for some reason it sits higher and wont fit under my frame.. so i had to jack it up with a half broken jack to get the borrowed 1 under it.. did the oil change.
noticed o2 sensor wires hanging... the thing that broke my car on the highway also almost ripped that out.
noticed front sub frame is showing rust where the thing bent it from the highway incident... sprayed it with rust check oil... that stuff usually works good.. ill paint it with rust paint in the summer.
got the car back on the ground.
started on the obd2 port, bent all the prongs so they will contact the scanner properly. still not working... i gave up.
heated seat... took the seat apart, too many wires... i was pissed off and gave up on that.
found the airbag seat module(i think) pushed the wires... all seemed tight... moved a bunch of other wires around while giving the heated seat another look.
    nope gave up again...
started the car... airbag light is off.. good but nothing was loose on the module so it must have been 1 of the other wires i moved.. crap, its probably still not tight.
time to put the seat back together... struggle with the leather... finally get it back on and clipped in, except the side flaps, because i done remember where they clipped on, but it seems ok.

basically we fought all day... and she won.

This is a bad time of year for car repairs. I try to wait for longer, warmer days.

    Like in May, June, July.............

Krown Oil spray is also good.

Doesn't really tell you much. Just the date of last test, pass or fail.
    No details.

Mike, I haven't been following the OBD port history, you made it so the females clamp tighter to the male...sometimes you bend them so that they don't match the silver lines they're supposed to. They hit the one next to it. They are easy to bend, the proper miniature tool is best.

How bent is the subframe ? That could add some vibration. Dang, one minute everything's going fine and BAM some piece of crap on the road ruins your life for a month.

Rolls I only bent the tabs inside them, used verry small tools to do it carefully. Thet can't contact the wrong plug because there are plastic seperators.
I really need someone with a 03, 3.2L to take a pic of their port and wiring locations so I can make sure they are right.

Geeze...that OLM is junk... It said I was at 40% life and the car was running like crap...this morning the cars engine feels like its new!

    ----------

    Another thing with my obd2.
When I brought my car in to fix the gas tank for the 2nd time... It had a cel on. When I picked it up it was gone. I wonder if the tech cleared it with a tech2 or other handheald, if he used the deck, or if it just cleared by itself.

A friend from work is brining in another obd2 scanner tomorrow for me to try out and see if it will link. I may have to trigger a cel somehow.

I don't see the connection to OLM & running good or bad.
    Am I missing something?

well, if it was low on oil then it might have been running poorly

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure Mike knows OLM doesn't mean oil level monitor
