Ballast location for hid fogs

Hey guys,
I have an 03 CTS and just received my hid kit for the fogs. I have a question for anyone that has completed this mod......Where did everyone mount the Ballast? I've heard instances in which some poeple have mounted their ballast on top of the fog light housing. Does this mean that the ballast is covering the fog light housing? (on Top) or is it above the housing? I checked with the cadillac faq, and only saw a write up on front bumper removal with the install of hid's in the headlights. Does anyone have any visuals of their ballast location for the fogs?

If your wires are long enough you may mount on TOP...aka...ABOVE.
I installed mine right next to it. You just need to self tpping screws...
VERY EASY...don't worry.
Once you get in there- you'll know!!!

I installed mine on top. Used nothing but 3M tape. It works fine, no screws necessary.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the info and visuals. I guess i will be going under construction this weekend....If it doesn't rain that is......Miami's weather is very unpredictable.
