Tony you want the 4600K. To change the low beams you have to take the bumper off. Please read the FAQ before you do this lol

That does look clean. I think I'm going to buy another pair of fogs off of ebay to switch up just in case. Did you disable DRLs? Are the LED's in the DRL space white all the time? I think I'm going to go with the ones that switch to blink yellow.

Re: HID upgrade questions... among others

no i didn't disable the drls.

my drls are white leds which are on during the day. the little corner lights in the headlight are white leds & my clear side markers are also while leds.

i did have the fast blink problem when i installed the leds but i put in a load capacitor and it fixed the problem.

Re: HID upgrade questions... among others

well, when i put in all of those leds (small little lights in the headlight, side markers, and drls) it started blinking really fast. so i put in a led load capacitor and it fixed the problem)

here is where i got it...

http://autolumination.com/equalizers.htm

and go with the...
6 OHM DELUXE ALUMINUM
50 watt LED Load Equalizer

they're $6.99 ea. you need one for each side & it'll fix the problem...

Yea, you want 4500k for the stock look. We have a group buy going on for great pricing on HID kits. Check it out in the Group Purchases section.

Thanks!

2) The slim-fit ballasts from our kits in our group buy that we are offering can fit on top of the headlight housing itself. The ballasts for the fogs can be mounted on the fog housing as well.

3) As far as that goes, I do not know about that. Maybe one of the resident experts will chime in on that.

4) I believe my friend, Shawn (xocomaox), installed these and mentioned something about removing the brake vent attached to the STS-V fog. Not sure if the normal STS have a brake vent.

I will let another one of the resident experts field questions 5 and 6, and 3 for that matter, for you.

Thanks!

Holy thread revival!

I think TopPSI disappeared. i know they had some real upset people a little while back (appears as though he scammed a bunch of people). It was all over the forums (not just this one).
