Yesterday I drove 2 hours to Holland to get my custom exhaust system installed by
EPS. Initially I wanted a cat back system, Camaro) exhaust tips like Stealth had. But we tested them too on the bare pipes for loudness. They are like trumpets, so we decided not to install them either.
Anyone interested?
We did several sound tests with the bare pipes cut off, the Magnaflow tips and different mufflers. I made films of it, but I need to load them on to a site somewhere.
So, we decided for round mufflers and brushed tips. No modification of the cutouts in the bumper needed. Thats another advantage over the Magnaflows, so there is no risk in case I need to change it back to stock.

I am very excited about the result! The tone is very low but not to loud inside. I dampened the trunk area a little more in the spare wheel well and the back of the seats to keep the noice out of the cabin.
I definately get more head turns now; for looks and for sound!
