endlessly waiting for my volant...

I ordered a Volant CAI at car-stuff.com. That was 4th of April. The 24/7 online chat service they have is great. But the agents don't necessarily know all you want to know from them. He said I should get more info within 2-3 business days

That's quite sad. The order might hav not been processed yet... ahhh!

anyone having this kind of experience with them?

From my understanding, the problem is with Volant. I ordered mine from Racer_dreams (awesome price of $235) but it will be shipped to me directly from Volant because they are still awaiting some sort of filter adaptor. I called Volant last week and was informed that orders should be shipped this week. I highly doubt it, but we'll see how it goes.

yeah... thats why flip has been going around telling every body that they should have went with K&N because they dont have a box

For the K&N? I shipped it back to the US for $40 by ship. It's a longer wait (about 3-4 weeks), but you save about $200 over UPS or DHL...

still nothing...... Aren't these things made in the USA (California).
I'd hate to think that they are waiting for a filter adaptor to come in from china or something.

I inquired again at car-stuff.com and they say 2-3 businessdays for a status update... again. Nice that they have 24/7 help, but it is useless when those people don't know anything...
