so just an hour ago, i'm walking back to my car when i notice on the back bumper there are 3 lines! wtf!?!? i dont know if someone hit me, keyed me, or what.. but this tickd me off severely.
just a few months ago, i went on a cruise and left my car in a relatives driveway. When i came back, there was damage to the front bumper.
(it sucks cus i didnt do this sht!! it happens to me! OYE!)
i cant buy a new front or back bumper but i cant drive anothre mile knowing that this crap is on my car..
please let me know if this stuff is fixable. If i can do it, if it needs to be done by a pro, if its totally shot. Pleaes, any help would be appreciated.

the rear, just get some buffing compound ($3-5), and a rag and try rubbing some compound in. most of the time it takes care of all your light scratches. if that doesn't work then you'll most likely need to get it painted. |

for a couple hundred bucks..if you pleaded enough maybe $200..
I could live with the back...hit it with some compound and
you may get good results although I'm not crossing my fingers..
I have some damage like that and it came out a little but not enough
to eliminate it...
the front damage is a different issue...that would get me depressed...
think about converting the front to a V..although its more money..
the mod is well worth it and just seeing it on will stir your emotions
regardless of the cash... |

That front bumper looks like it needs some replacing.. start scouting out some used bumpers or something. The back is not so bad. |

(Not on my CTS!) It takes a light touch and a steady hand; sometimes it's just impossible to get a smooth appearance. I guess since you have scratches anyhow you might as well give it a try, but like I said I'd try the rubbing compound first.
Truthfully...if this were my car I'd take it to a body shop ASAP and get it done right. |

much of a problem(i guess thats a good thing in this situation ) | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
