Re: 1/4 + t/c

ya i feel like off is better. Often when accelerating hard the t/c will automatically engage around 75-80 ish. At that point i feel the car kind of slow down for a small fraction of a second... but w/ the traction off u dont experience that; however, you always hear people stressing traction in speedy cars.
more input would b helpful

Re: 1/4 + t/c

the traction control slows down the tire that is spinning faster then the otherso the car straightens out for traction , but in doing that you slow down at launch.

Re: 1/4 + t/c

Actually doing the 1/4 mile with T/C on is driving with your foot on the brake! Yup, it will pulse your brakes to regain traction. If the burnout is radical enough it may even engage stability control. Turn it all off plus turn off your AC. Get rid of any dead weight..no, not you! Couple extra pounds of air in the front tires and...Zoom zoom.

Same button in the glove box. I wouldn't worry about stabilitrac. Program your config. button on the steering wheel to you can turn the TC off quick. Don't forget the AC button too specially in warm weather.
