Need some feedback on Rims

Guys Im looking to get 18'' Rims on my 07 Cts. Right now Im looking at the Zinik Z7 Adrian, ASA AR1, and the Kazera KZ-A Dual PCD. Any other suggestions?? What styles look good on the Cts and are 18''s big enough to make a difference from the stock wheels? I need some feedback.

Re: Need some feedback on Rims

if you are going for the "deep" lip look then 18's will look small. a lot of 18's that have the clean spokes that are flat will look bigger. i went with 20's and lip look and it looks right on the CTS.

good luck!

Re: Need some feedback on Rims

The car is in cali, even tho I am in med school in chicago. Out there the roads are nice so the ride is awesome. Long drives on the freeway or in the city are all the same. I haven't had the luxury of testing them on rough roads, that's why I didn't wanna bring it out to chicago.

end point.. if your road conditions are bad, you have to really like the 20's to deal with all the bumps and the risks of breaking your rims (or your back) on potholes.

Re: Need some feedback on Rims

ur rim decision depends also on you car color... u should look further than tirerack.com there are a lot of other sites that offfer more wheels... but for those that want to see what the wheels look like on the car, heres the link to the caddy on tirerack--u can change the color by selecting ur car color from the dropdown menu on the left, click on the wheels (this case he's lookin at the ASA AR1, Kazera KZ-A Dual PCD, and Zinik Z7 Adrian) .. when u click on the wheels they'll appear on the car. Check it out, give the kid ur feedback.
(personally i like the Kazera KZ-S, its not much more expensive than the KZ-A, and looks better)

Re: Need some feedback on Rims

whatever floats your boat, also some pics so i dont have to do the research myself lol
by the way i dont think 18's look right unless you drop it in some manner, i used the eibach pro kit, 18's with no drop still leaves a descent size fender gap, but you have this nice new wheel on there, its like ugly and nice fighting eachother haha

18" works for me! What color is your CTS? On black a black with polished edges works fine for me!!

Re: Need some feedback on Rims

I am definately gonna have the car dropped. I have the "golden mist" Thats why im looking more at chrome. Im trying to decide the design. Like if I should go webbed or spoke. Thats for the input so far.

Dropped on 20s will have a big impact on your ride quality. The sidewall flex has been greatly reduced resulting in a hasher ride. The shorter sidewalls also put you at risk for rim damage with potholes and other obstructions. If none of that bothers you, go for it.
