goto the clerk of the circuit courts for whatever county he lives in and do a search for his name...you can usually just google 'clerk of the circuit courts blank blank county' and it'll give you the website...give it a shot, if he's not in bankruptcy you may still have a shot at it. |

How the creditors stand in line depends on the law. Bankruptcy doesn't protect you from a restitution order if you've committed a crime. The big issue here is that at $200 an hour an attorney is the only one going to profit. If Pete is in the hospital you might visit him there to collect your pound of flesh.

I was a creditor in a bankruptcy and wrote it off. Years later I got a check for full payment from the guy along with a letter to sign saying I'd been paid. I tore the check up, signed the letter, sent both back to the guy, and told him to pay somebody that needed the money more than I did. Even though the court had discharged him from the debt the guy was doing the moral thing and paying the debt anyway. He had my respect. |

from anyone he can!!!! | I suppose a give away would be if Corporal Dan caught him training for a marathon instead of on his death bed. Did he give you an impression of the state of Pete's health? This could pretty well nail down the situation. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
