The R/T is NOT the SRT8. The R/T is 'only' 340 HP. The SRT8 is 425. The R/T has 0-60 around 6 seconds and a high 13/low 14 1/4-mile.

Re: Charger R/T

CTS-V would kill the Charger any day...definately not a 3.6. Tell the kid that no matter how big the engine is...Cadillac is still better. His car probably rides like shit compared to our caddies.

Re: Charger R/T

ya i just looked it up, there are like 4 different charger models..
SE - 2.7L and 190 hp
SXT - 3.5L V6 w/ 250 hp
R/T = 5.7L v8 and 340 hp <-----------
Daytona R/T = 5.7L v8 w/ 350 hp
SRT8 - 6.1L v8 w/ 425 hp

hypothetically, is it something to try or "no way, back off, the cts will get humiliated"

(ryan i'm talking about a 300 hp after mods, originally stock at 255. sry for the confussion)

Re: Charger R/T

i've taken out chargers before... just not R/T's or SRT's ... chrysler 300 too, but not the 300C (never encountered R/t or srt or 300c's on the road before).

anyway...

A GTO is 400 HP and would demolish an R/T. Cadillac is trying very hard to change the perception of what Cadillacs are 'meant for' with the "V" series cars. Don't spoil it now!
