As mentioned, the DVD-R format is most compatable, but most likely all will work. (Oem videos & personnaly ripped)
Frustrated with the Ipod / mp3 thing, I have created 2000+ SONG dvds with menus, etc rendered in surround sound.

Same difference. The DVD's will play with 5.1 surround if you have the bose system.
Just use the known hack to keep 'em goin while driving. |

Lower slot plays CDs.  |

Most DVD readers recognize the VCD format.

My music DVD shows a custom pic of my ride in the background.
Being as the hack locks out the controls, it still recognizes the voice commands.
