In his '03 3.2 with various intakes and a base run. Have Blue did the same in a 3.6.
Of course not the same dyno or the same day. |

My runs had the Borla exhaust already installed:
As driven (245/45R18s and Volant-I think) (196 RWHP)
Stock 225/50R17s, stock airbox and filter (196 RWHP)
Stock 225/50R17s, TonyA modified Airbox and Fram AirHog (200 RWHP)
Stock 225/50R17s, Volant (201 RWHP)
Stock 225/50R17s, K&N (205 RWHP)
HaveBlue and I used the exact same airboxes for the stock and TonyA modified runs, but his was on a different dyno, different day, and a 3.6L car. (Both cars were Blue Onyx though!, LOL) He did the same stock tire runs as I did.
The manual car has slightly less drivetrain losses, so a similarly equipped automatic car will show 5% or 6% lower numbers. A completely stock 3.2L automatic CTS should be putting out about 175 RWHP. A stock automatic 3.6L car will put out about 205 RWHP. |

What do you think? | That would be cool...I have some stuff that I gotta take care with my first though...for one I need a water pump and have a leak that my exhaust guy can't seem to locate coming from my headers...as soon as I get those things fixed I'm good to go..I think they charge 75 or 80 for three pulls which is not bad..and all they do up there are Vs and Vettes |
