She broke the OEM NAV screen and it needs repaired? Where does the aftermarket DVD/CD/NAV come it the picture?
I don't think you can order just the screen. Maybe you can cut a new one? Removing the NAV is rather easy. |

So picked a new aftermarket pioneer head unit and when I installed it my gas guage stoped working, and my speedometer, and odometer change to kilometers. My qestion how to get everything working with my pioneer head unit I installed |

I never heard of any aftermarket head unit that will work with a CTS without severe cut, chop, and adapt.

The last time I looked at one of the OEM LCD panels, it looked like similar, if not identical, to an LCD panel I have laying on my parts shelf. If you want to venture to actually remove the LCD panel itself and take a photo of the back of the panel, I can confirm whether or not the LCD panel I have can replace it. I just need to see where and what type of ribbon the screen uses to communicate with the controller board.
And as everyone else said, replacing the head unit on these cars isn't as easy as other cars. |

I'm just extremely busy with school and that's about all I have time for now. Surprisingly, this whole road to becoming a doctor thing actually requires some work. The CTS is just chilling as it is with no new mods. It's waiting to retire later this year when the 2008 comes out |

Have you thought about just getting a stock DVD/Nav and returning what you bought? |

What DVD/nav did you buy? I have stock navi, and have wanted to add aftermarket just for fun........maybe trade ya.... |
