    Mmmmmm, I don't know. He just did an engine swap, that's all.

    Didn't see the LS7 part! oops!

    And yeah, the new M5 is really heavy.. weighs 600 lbs more than my M5 which is not exactly a light feeling car.

    Lots of sound deadening, high strength steel, lots of electrical gizmos, that stupid SMG Transmission, etc...

    It is the depreciation factor that kept me out of the V. As much as I am a die hard Cadillac fan, I can't justify the depreciation factor of the STS-V, CTS-V and XLR-V.

    Although you will pay more for the M5, or M6 or whatever, the end game is that they will retain much more of their value and desirability than the Cadillac.

    A friend of mine who has a dealer license gave me the recent sellings of V's at auction around the entire country... it made me sick.
