RIP, JD! You are missed.
The National Motorists Association -- Fairness and justice for motorists.
That is if it comes out but yeah it would be the sts competitor.315 HP vs 320 HP
The winner would be STS no question 'bout that
its replacing the Town Car isnt it? its pretty nice looking though, future wise i might get one.
I think that was the belief at first, but it should be replacing the LS series...
The Zephyr is replacing the LS and the MKS is replacing the Town Car. Me and Katshot were talking to the service writer when we dropped off the Aviator and thats what he was telling us.Originally Posted by Administrator

marks were a 2 door thats a 4 door thats more like a new TC or Continental
Continental. Its far too sporty to be a replacement for the T/C's
And we all know how well that went overOriginally Posted by gothicaleigh
But I'd say it looks OK. 315hp is a plus. Hope it sells fairly well.
i was gonna say it looks suspiciously like a photoshopped new beemerOriginally Posted by gothicaleigh

I like Lincolns.
I am on my 3rd Lincoln.
I've purchased new, a 1986 Special Order Paint: Pink Mark 7
a Pearl White 1998 Mark 8;
and my current 2003 Town Car, Silver-Jade.
I would not be caught dead in that undescribly homely, far reaching ugly,
snub nosed blimp! That has got to be the ugliest Lincoln in MY lifetime,
of 59 years. A Town Car that looks like a melted Altima that mated with
a Saab 9.3, and this is the runt of the litter ! Good Grief.
The most satisfying Lincoln is the Town Car, for ride, comfort, quiet, braking, visibility, air conditioning, stereo, CD, THX audio and lack of problems. At $47,000 it's a "buy" and frequently you'll come across examples with 200,000 miles on them, with no engine work. There IS a reason that livery companies swear by them, and not at them, as do limousine drivers & New York City Taxis.
To follow the current car up with this melted scoop of plain vanilla is ..... I am without words. I told my salesman that if I didn't upgrade to a 2006 Town car this summer, I'd go back to Cadillac. He said, "I wouldn't blame ya" ~ we are about to flush our customer base down the toilet ~ he added.
They now have 3 almost exact cars: LS - Zephyr and mow MK5 ..or is it MKS? Does it really matter?
They just came out with a 25th Anniversary Commemorative Town Car with Sterling Silver accents and Special Black Leather Shirred leather piped in SILVER and chrome 18 spokes and rear seat power headrests. Gotta go see.
