2007 Jag XK caught at Photo Shoot...

Its nice. I think I like it alot more than the current one which was starting to really show its age. The front is missing identity a bit, but overall its a good look, almost kind of Aston-Martin-y... which may or may not be a good thing.

I -love- the classic rear bulge! Jaguar styling is always so well balanced. Modern and sleek while retaining a sense of Eduardian elegance.

Base model will carry 325HP, The XK-R Will be 450 or so based off the 4.2L Jag V8. Now this sounds totally ludicrous (the name) but SVO is supposed to get involved sometime around 2008 and produce an "XKR-R" with even more power.

Aluminum, just like the XJ and some of the S-Type. Maybe there will be one at school next time I go, I'll snap a bunch of pictures for you guys if so.

Sort of reminds me of the BMW 6 series or an Austin Martin.

Re: 2007 Jag XK caught at Photo Shoot...

The problem with the XK as it stands now is that the body lacks structural rigidity in the Convertible and doesnt offer such niceties as a power hardtop or even a removeable hardtop option. Its also quite heavy. The new Aluminum one will address all of these issues very nicely. Its not perfect, but I like it so far.

Also, look at the tail-lights more carefully. In my mind they are copycat tail-lights, but not of a Kia so much as the striking similarity of the body half of the lights to the Z3 tail lights...

I would get an xkr, too bad jaguar makes them and they come with those nasty taillights. Other than that I would get one.
