It does seem a bit strange, but according to places like motor trend the 458 does the 1/4 mile in 11.5 seconds which I believe a 600hp V can compete with. I tried to find some 50-70mph times but had no luck.
I think the guy driving the 458 saw the taillights getting smaller, and shut it down to avoid further embarassment and retain what little dignity he had left
The 458 has a 5.27 lb/hp ratio and the V with 609whp is about 761bhp so it is at 5.62 lb/hp.
Although the 458 had a better power to weight the V's torque wins the game here but I would bet @ 130mph + the 458's weght advantage and aero would come through.
Those damn wealthy Russians and their oil money. Always posting street racing videos on youtube from Moscow's third transport ring freeway. Also explains why both cars are equal in speed. Socialism at its finest....
