Yup, those are old world Hemi numbers, combined with today's technology and LOOK OUT! How will Cadillac compete?

Now everyone that bought a 300C will want one of these, so imagine how many used 300C's there will be in dealers lots! It should make them depreciate to a level as to make them dirt cheap? Just a theory. I'll take one in Cool Vanilla please.

Well.. Cadillac was first to do such a mix, so they get the credit (in my book, and many others)

I've been hearing talk about the CTS-V Plus and CTS Super V. What are they and are they the same thing or not?

I actually happen to like that the SRT8 is gonna be a auto..........I highly doubt anyone uses that much power everyday.......but they are goin the same route as benz with the no-manual theory which can be bad too.....but its basically the executives hot rod.

One is the prototype for the other:

Trackside lurkers discover Cadillac CTS-V “Plus” burning up the Nurburgring

May 27, 2004, 9:01 AM ET by Christopher Diken

Adding horsepower and pure nastiness to a car that already has both qualities in spades, the “Plus” prototype mule tacks on another 200 ponies, upping the CTS-V’s 400 to 600. The car is a precursor to Caddy’s CTS Super V, which besides packing the heavy hp number, will also include a hood and fenders molded from carbon fiber, and, although it has no turbos or superchargers, a hood scoop designed to force cooling air into the engine bay. According to GM, only 500 will be produced, and the price of entry for this limited edition beast is a relatively paltry $65,000.

That car still wont touch the V on the track, 1/4 mile or the road courses.
