Exclamation Catera Parts from Germany!

Remove this ad
hi again, now since i am a "paying vendor" i will make my offers again ;-)

ok here is the story:
i am an absolute Opel fan and i love the Omega B MV6.
i work on their cars for about 8 years now and i probably know every single screw. especially engines are my hobby.
since you guys dont really have a hugh selection of catera parts, i would be willing to help you guys (and of course earn a little bit of money as well. i somehow need to pay for my education)

so let me know what you need and i will support you with the actual price and shipping costs.
please keep in mind, this is not a business yet, but i might turn it into a business.
also keep the approx. exchangerate in mind. 1 euro is about 1,3 dollars.
the shipping costs depend on the size and the wheight of the package of course. but e.g. a box with the dimensions of : 47,2 x 23,6 x 23,6 inches
and a max wheight of 42 pounds is 85 dollars.

i can provide you with either tuningparts or spareparts. (except for the US parts like your mirrors or the US bumpers, etc.)
just the european versions.
but almost all the rest of the car is the same.

present project:
adapting my remapped software to the US version of the ECU.
we just have an EPROM chip in our ECUs that is exchangeable.
you dont. i havent figured out yet where the program in your ECUs is stored in. as soon as i have an idea how to modify your ECUs i will provide a remapped software for the catera that should mobilize about 30 or 40 horsepowers. and belive me THAT IS noticable. it will put a smile on your face.

if you need modified cams for your car, let me know. we have different companies here, that sell them.
you want different pistons for a higher compression to match the european version? contact me.

whatever you want. just give it a shot.
but again: please keep in mind that i cannot provide you with cheap crap.
exchangerate and shipping fees apply.

i can only be paid with paypal so far. you may send cash (euros) via registered mail as well. i will try to offer cash on delivery (have figure out if DHL will do that. UPS is too expansive let alone fedex)

all the best to the US

alex

my contact information: alex@inside-technik.de
or send me a private message. i dont have a homepage yet.

p.s. i can get you performance mufflers and entire exhaustsystem as well.

Questions should stay here, out in the open for everyone to read. This way potential customers don't go PMing him the same questions he's already answered.

Re: Catera Parts from Germany!

Hi sounds really good.

Wondering do you have/offer or will you eventually offer what we need to remove the 125 mph limitation currently imposed on USA Cats?

Thanks.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fair warning:
This is fair warning for the sake of safety for the VERY few readers here who might be unaware:
Catera top speed was limited to 125 mph because Cat tires, from the factory, imposed this limitation. Any owner who removes this limitation must be certain her or his tires are upgraded to operate at the higher speeds.
And also this tongue-in-cheek warning right out of brain dead USA 2007:
Tire failure at 140 mph could lead straightaway to your death - even in a Catera.
Re: Catera Parts from Germany!
hmm... your ECUs is a pain in my ......
it really is. i need some "inside information" about it. it seems that its supposed to be flashed with a Tech2. but how would we get my MAP into the tech2?
i think the only serious way would be to replace your ecu by a european one.
who is willing to take 2 detailed pictured of the plug and the socket of your ecu?
i need to see if your plug fits into our ECUs.
@ariza034
you know that you need different cams for a turbo conversion, right?
otherwise your engine is gonna die before it lifes!
a set of forged pistons is about 1000 euros. (amazingly good german quality)
alternatively you can have forged pistons by mc laren! or ilmor (formular 1 quality!!!!!) prize for those would be about 1650 euros and you would have to order at least 10 set of pistons (60 pcs) as they are individually manufactured.
do you need oversized pistons or regular ones? prize is the same.
arp bolts are about 170 euros.
