the saab doesnt have a 3 litre engine as far as i know.
imho its a 2.5 liter V6 that ALSO has been used in the opel vectra a 2.5 with 170 hp.
the bore, the pistons and the rods are not the same.
the rubocharged version of the saab should also have different pistons.
the ECU is "tuneable" by changing the MAP chip. i have a modified chip for the euro ECU which gives a pretty descent increase of power!
unfortunately that chip doesnt fit anywhere in the US ecu.
if you want to adjust the injektion etc. you should consider buying an Apexi AFCii controller.
the euro ECU is definately a must for you if you dont want to spent 1600 euros on a freely programmable universal ECU.
