| Re: 98 Catera Won't Start I don't know if this would help, but just recently, during the cold weather, my 97 Cat would not start. It's like the immobilizer just cut off the ignition, the starter won't even turn. And the solution i found out was to hold the ignition key turned all the way for a minute or so, then after a while, the car will start. I don't know what causes it, but it's very possible that the cold weather caused it. I don't know what the holding of the ignition key turned all the way did, i guess it heated up something that eventually started the car. But it did the trick. |
