Here's the radio power connection. It's the bottom one on the board above the coil
I also found another similar bad connection. Fixed them both. Now I can test it and see if it fixed the problem. Not that I need this relay, since I have another one in, but maybe some day, or if someone else needs one.
Where is this relay located? My radio cuts out like that too... every now and then it will go out for like 1min... and it makes a lout "THUD" sound too...
Never mind, I compared the pictures and I found out they are one and the same. I am off to buy a soldering gun...
Hey guys, great thread! It is truly amazing that all the hard work with putting this together has saved so many people countless hours and cash on such a simple fix. I had the same problem, now my switch works, just have to replace the burned out bulbs...once again thanks for the dummy proof help guide! :-)
Is the relay k34 for the fog light also the same one for the radio? My fog lights are out, and my radio cuts off sometiems.... Please email me direct, its such a pain to try to use the catera forum, perhaps i dont understand how to do it... HGQGUY@Yahoo.com
