sure sounds like dex-cool. compare it to the liquid in the coolant reservoir.

Yep, sounds like antifreeze hence the sweet taste.....oil is quite bitter....

Agreed. Which is one of the main reasons why when you do a coolant flush, you need to be extremely careful not to spill or contaminate the environment. Animals will drink it, and because it tastes sweet, they will continue to drink it. And I think we can all agree that drinking antifreeze is not a good idea.

THanks to all the people who posted for your help.

O.K. the jokes on me it was my error, it is anti-freeze. It threw me off because i've only been using green coolant but i guess the drain canister( or whatever it is called) acts as a sedimant trap, and some of the original coolant (red dextroll) must still be trapped there .

Anyway problem is solved and thanks again
