Is there anywhere I can get a RKE and key for my 2000 CAT? Dealer wants way more than I want to pay!!

Yes, but you'll still have to eat the programming. I've yet to find someone other than the dealer who can program the key blank and the fob easily or all that cheaply...

Most auto locksmiths can programme the keys.....you will need your carpass with the immobiliser/central locking PIN numer on it....(if the US use this!)

there is a website called streetkeys.com, i checked and they'll provide a key with programming for $87 for a catera. they also do keyfobs.

Streetkeys partners (local locksmiths) cannot do the key fobs. Must go to a dealer, at least for a 1999. They did do two keys for $29.99. Worked fine.
