Levelling Flashing

Remove this ad
Hi,

Ok I'm as sick of posting about this bloody car, as you probably are reading about it.

Still waiting for some great advice about speed sensors, but, my levelling light is flashing, started a few days ago.

If I corner hard to the right, so the weight transfers to the drivers side, the light tends to go out, the rest of the time it flashes.

I am supposed to be moving overseas shortly and every cent counts, so just at the time I want to sell the car, I find myself having to fix numerous items, very tired of this now.

Any quick fixes out there?

Re: Levelling Flashing

Is the headlight (HID) leveling or suspension.

If Suspension:

First starter for 10 is to check the level sensor on the right hand side rear trailing arm near the diff, pop the linkage off, lube it and move it through its full travel to ensure its not simply a bit seized up...

If headlights
Repeat the above but, this time the sensors are on the left hand side front wishbone and left hand side rear trailing arm....

Re: Levelling Flashing

Just an additional comment, I have a 99, with no HID's, just the standard euro lights fitted. I take it, from that, that I may concentrate on the level sensor (as my starting point) alone?
