EBTCM annoyance

Remove this ad
Hi,

Well I had my module refurbished on ebay, and the mechanic put it back on, joy, still no abs, tracs, cruise, p/steering or speedometer - Aghhhhhhhhh

Out of interest, we fitted a used unit in, not the refurbished and the same problems existed, although the ABS light did not come (ABS was still inactive).

Anyone got any idea's on this?

I still cannot help but think that the fitting of a remote starter was the root cause to all this.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Mick

Every single one I could find, irrelevant of whether I thought it crucial or not, under hood and under the dash.

Its very frustrating!!!

Than what I would do is trace every wire that was cut or spliced during the alarm/remote start install and undo the damage.

Maybe that screwed up some thing by adding resistance.
