whats the difference from 98 to 2000 engines

whats the difference. the head gasket set for a 2000 is a hundred dollars more

Well the 98 engine has the old style ignition and the new one has the DIS system that doesn't have any plugs from the coils to the sparks. The coil sits on the spark plug. I know there are a few other differences in the intake manifold. I cant think of any other differences right now.

yeah the upper intake is different but the gaskets are still the same
