Did you notice an improvement in acceleration, throttle response and/or gas mileage? Sorry, I forgot to ask you that earlier.

Re: Another set of new videos flyby interior acceleration and cruise at 75 mph

I suspect very little if our delve into exhaust and intake mods are anything to go by.

We found that induction kits and filters tended to loose Bhp (although some thought they were better due to the additional intake noise) and the exhaust changes made little difference (other than a change in sound) mainly due to the system being pretty free flowing anyway.

Note its difficult to describe the feeling of traveling in a V chassis based car at 155 Mph on a german autobahn....

Re: Another set of new videos flyby interior acceleration and cruise at 75 mph

I agree. With an open air filter you loose some hp, especially in the range below 3500 rpm. The acceleration 0-100 kmh seems to be similar with stock and open air filter. The top speed does not increase with sport exhaust system and air filter.
The only thing the air filter changes is the gas mileage. The car needs 0.5 - 1 litres more per 100 km.

definitally better sound. its not a stronger pull but definitally smoother. when i had the stock airbox (with a little modding) the car used to have tremendous torque when the butterfly valve opened at 4k rpms. i never really noticed any difference in mpg. nothing drastic im sure.

Pete, I don't know if you got my last post but have you noticed any improvements such as quicker throttle response, better gas mileage ect. yet or at all? Some people have said that there's a noticible difference in throttle response; what's your take?

Re: Another set of new videos flyby interior acceleration and cruise at 75 mph

Could I take my car to any muffler shop around here ( memphis, tn) to have this done?? If so what exactly should I ask them to do? Just resonators removed?? Something I could possibly do over the phone or something they would have to look at in person?
