Electrical problem

I was trying to change the door light in my car and all the door lights and dome light stoped working! any reason for that?
would it be the fues?
it happened to me before and they came back on, but i dont know if im going to get lucky again haha

The multifunction module may be failing and disabling the interior lights due to "low power fault". The module goes bad and turns off the components at a higher voltage than normal. The interior lights are one circuit of the module. Module is located on a bracket on the steering column under the dash.

Ths is the same module (but a different output circuit) that causes the radio to cut out at high volume when it fails. I jumpered #12 and #14 pins on my module to stop the radio cut-out, but I have the same dome light problem as you do. Too lazy and cheap to replace it (and I got the radio working thats what's important ).

i checked the dome light fues and its fine!
its weird they were working fine till i touched the light with the metal thing where is the bulb goes on

i hope its nothing major im sick of spending money on this car

how much does it cost to replace it?
