It's a '98 with 75K, no moon roof for goodness sake.

If he were a serious seller with genuine time pressure and wife angst, he would actually auction off the car with no reserve.

Instead he's playing the same game most sellers play.

The mileage on a used car is only a rough idea of the wear. I believe that a considerable amount of wear occurs during the warm-up period, especially when the car is outside in the winter.

I wish that it was standard on a car to record the number of cold starts, or starts below a certain temperature, and have that information available at re-sale time Maybe an OBDII readout. Maybe overheat events (if any) can also be recorded. With today's computers in cars, this should be possible.
