so we all normally talk about a problem we have...but this is purely cosmetic issue. is it possible to switch the rear armrest from a 2000+ into my 1998? i assume so but cadillac probably changed it just enough lol

i was wondering this awhile back too. the 2000+ have that cup holder which would be nice.

it wouldnt work, the 2000 are all different including the window switches on the door

Contourb probably thought the arm rests in the door panel (hence the switches)... while you we talking about the centre arm rest....

everything in the newer cats is different he means evn the window switches i looked at their armrest and its different in the front not sure about the back but most of the interior is more square shaped than ours.

yes...i realize that the front armrest, console, window switches, etc. moved or morphed. i have driven quite extensively a 2001 cat...familiar with the changes. im pretty sure that the rear armrest will fit in a 97-99...only difference is that there are rear cup holders and i dont trust my friends in the back with anything but water...lol
