What a bugger
No speed limiters in europe (from my experience of US roads, the quality is somewhat variable so this may be a good thing!) on the cars and hence 150mph+ can be achieved.....they are incredibly smooth and quiet at 100mph+
Interestingly, there are a number of banger rally events in europe where one of the requirements is that the car costs no more than 100 quid (190 dollars).
One of our forum members bought a 1995 2.016V (136Bhp) Omega base model (we have many more engine varients) and transformed it into the 'BatOmegaBile' for the event. It completed its 1600 mile balls out run to Naples in Italy from Scotland (North UK) and was then given to some guys to bring back.....they took it via the Nurbergring and did a 10 minute lap in it!
