Setup the seats!

when i got the car i been told that i can set the seats and the mirrors with remote
anyone knows how to do it?

BK Caddy,

It's funny, 10 years ago when we got our '97, our fast-talking salesman told us the same thing. He said that RKE #1 could have one set of seat settings while RKE #2 for the wife could have another set. Of course, I could never find any way to do it. The Detroit made Caddys have that feature, but I'll be darned if I ever figured out a way to do it on the Catera.

It says in the manual, somethin' like holding the memory button and the number you want at the same time.

thats to program the memory seat itself...that feature has never worked...but the locks will sometimes work themselves...lol

the door locks...miraculously lock and unlock themselves! magic! and valve covers warp and head gaskets blow...i hate this thing...lol

My memory seats work never had a problem figuring out how to do it. Hold the memory button and the number button for like 5 seconds then move the seat and reset it.

once again, that is to program the seat itself...that does not necessarily make it work with the RKE...

I have three different setting programed. 2 for me and one for my girlfriend.

oh people...we are talking about using your keypad on your keyring to move the seats and mirrors. we all know and love the fact that we have a three way memory driver seat, though not the topic of discussion here...lol
