EBTCM Identification - Urgent help needed

Hi All,

I need to replace the EBCTM.

The old unit is scheduled to come off saturday, and originally, (I may return to this plan), I was intending to send this unit off for refurbishment if I can't find one to buy.

A company is advertising warrantied ones, but before I can order from them they need the VIN and crucially, the numbers from my existing EBCTM. Since the whole purpose of obtaining it is so it can just be fitted as the old one comes off, is thier ANY way I can establish the module numbers ahead of its removal so that I can have the replacement ready??

Also, I am being told by a completely diiferent source that the unit they have for sale, an ABS module, is the same as the thing I am calling EBTCM.

So, does ABS module = EBCTM module??

go onto ebay and for 200 dollars they will rebuild it and it is warranty for life. dont buy and used one as it will have the same problems one day. and the abs module and the ebctm are the same thing

Just had shipping label (prepaid) faxed to me by a company that will do exactly as you describe.

Fraction of the cost of dear old Cadillac huh!!

To think, before I left the UK, I had an Omega and was trouble, and cheapish when it was, freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ;-)

Ah well.

This turned out to cheap in the end, well if this is the end!!

You dont need a model number, just tell them the year of the car.
