Black Projector Pics and Alignment Quest.

Remove this ad
Hi All,

To those that asked about photo's of the headlights when fitted, I am attempting a virgin post of photo's, we'll see if it works!!

Thanks a million to Ahmed who forwarded me the wiring instructions which didn't come with the lights purchased on ebay.

One quick question, when it gets dark, I need to align the lights, anyone have any advice or pointers on how I do this?

As you can see, I still need to address the fog lights which constant let in moisture.

Thanks

Mick

As far as the fog lights are concerned, do you have the rubber boots that
fit over the housing where the bulb goes? If you don't, that might be the problem.

Re: Black Projector Pics and Alignment Quest.

did you have to remove the front bumper to install these? how did you get to that one screw at the very bottom of the lights?

Re: Black Projector Pics and Alignment Quest.

Once you have removed the small piece of trim that runs below the headlight, easy to do, you have ample room to get a socket with extension bar in and remove the nut or screw (don't remember which it was).

The act of bolting in the replacement lights is actually very straightforward.

I have mine, and the problem still occurs, which causes the bulbs to burn out before they should... I just stopped replacing them.

Everytime I remove the bottom cover of the rubber boot, there is always water (condensation accumulation I guess)... I'm actually looking at replacing the entire fog light assembly next year (after winter) same time I do my headlights (like BlckCat) did...
