i was wondring is it possible to hook up subwoofer on the orginal catera deck?
i want to get subs but i dont want to change the orginal deck
any tips....dont be shy

Yea it's possible. I have a sub in mine with the original deck. The only special part they needed was a line ouput converter which converts regular speaker wires to rca wires.

The sound quality is allright, but because you are using the rear speaker output the amp doesnt get the optimal signal. If your amp has a good crossover, that would make a huge difference. I originally had my subs ran through a line level converter and I was satifsfied with the sound quality. I didnt realize how poor it really was until i swaped out my head unit. Now the speaker clarity and base resoponce is amazing, way better than the stock bose
