Question catera oil capacity?

Remove this ad
owners manual says it takes 6 quarts when changing a filter.

in your real-world experience, does this # work out for the catera?

as i recall, most oil-change places fill w/ "up to 5 quarts" - just wondering if i need to pay attention to the # provided next time i get an oil/filter change.

Re: catera oil capacity?

Jiffy Lube puts in 6 quarts (they charge extra $2 for 6) and it always seems to overfill by about 1/2 quart, when I use the dipstick to measure later.
