go to strutmasters.com. Strutmasters: Cadillac Catera Air Suspension Kits, Air Shock Replacement, Air Strut Replacement it's about $300 with shipping. The job isn't difficult. Just have to reuse some old rubber bushings, since the bastards don't include new ones for $300 for a pair of shocks... If you have a set of large sockets (7/8" I believe to remove on the bottom side) and some wrenches, and a day off, go for it! Any questions, I'll let you give me a call...

    Re: Leveling Light Flashing

i just bought a 1997 catera and i had 2 friend in the back seat and the leveling light flashed for like 25 miles .i took a trip about 2000 miles and on the way back with luggage in the truck same thing when i filled the gas tank all the way full with trunk full of luggage and 2 kids in the back seat the light flashed for like 200 miles in till i shut the engine off and restarted it about 20 miles down the road the light would start flashing again about 4 hours from home my driver side tire blew out but i notice when it is sitting in a parking lot on level ground the rear tires lean in at the top and the tire that blew it chewed up the inside of the tire to the point where the wires was hang out

Mine started to flash when the rear springs broke. They broke close to the tray so it was hard to find the problem. Bulb burned out and traded the beast.

The reason the wheel will lean in towards the car on top is because either the spring is broken or the shock has a leak and will not fill up properly.
The leveling light will flash when there is a problem with the leveling system, again either a broken spring or a faulty shock that will not fill with air
leaving the car in a lowered position. Fixing the springs (Hard to find) and or the air shocks (MONROE Part # MA825, 129.99 @ Rockauto.com)
will fix both problems you are having.

If your talking about a pneumatic suspension below is a link I found but at $2000 is it worth it? Besides, that isn't usually considered the way to go if your goal in improved handling. The second link is to my Catera Performance Suspension Upgrades thread. It lists the options and some sources.
