'98 catera rear window defogger

Remove this ad
when i press the rear window defogger button, no lights come on to let me know it is working. im not really sure if it even works or not. its too hot outside to test it also. i already checked the fuses and they all look fine. anybody have any suggestions?

ah car has to be started for it to work, can't just have the ignition on.

I have the same year car. My rear defogger never seemed to work too well in the winter. So I doubt you'd be able to feel it warming up in the summer, but you could try. And I believe your right, there's no light to show its on.

no i "fixed" it. i was trying to use it with the ignition on everytime i tested it. but it only works with the engine started.
