I bought a 1998 Catera, but was told it was a 1999

from Plaza Motors with 35,000 miles pre-certified in 11-2000

I love the interior, exterior and handling of the car. It drives great when I'm not having mechanical problems

. I started having minor problems when I drove it off the lot

. Fog lights were broken, glove box wouldn't close in cold weather, idling was too high, tires needed to be replaced when I looked at the tires and was told they were new

and alignment was needed. The summer of 2000' ac was warm, but Plaza claimed there were no codes and found nothing wrong

.

Since the year of 2000 starting with 2001 these are the following repairs that's been done. Thank God for the pre-ceritified warranty which covered some the the things, but other problems I had to pay for because the warranty had expired). You pay to own a Cadillac:
AC problems-compressor not coming on, recently 8/5/05 radiator replaced, water pump, timing belt & tensioner replaced, crank sensor replaced, rear air shocks replaced, voltmeter/oil pressure gauge in ipc replaced, valve covers left & right replaced, replaced leveling system shocks & compressor, replaced vaccum hose and lastly, replaced leaking water control valve.

I love the car so much and had search high and low for one I just couldn't depart from it. I guess I'm hooked

. I had heated seats installed in my Catera, which is great in the weather. The car came with of course Bose stero system, alloy wheels, leather seats which are tan, powered sunroof, windows, dvd and tape. It is fully loaded and the color is sage.
It drives like a new car since all problems (I think) has been repaired

.
