Anyone put a V8 in a Catera? Seems like if you got some Holden Commadaore VT V8 engine mounts, and a few other Holden VT V8 parts and a LS1 engine and transmission it would be a straight forward swap. Budget CTS-V, or Sleeper Catera.

I have an Omega here in UK. But its pretty much the same thing as the Catera. Ive been thinking about the swap.

Anyone turbo'ed one of these? Doesnt the SAAB 3.0 version have a single turbo on theirs? Wonder how different the engines are besides compression differences?
