    98 catera cruse controll failure

    My 98 catera cruse controll failed on a trip from cincinnati to denver.
    I can not find any problem with the fuses in the fuse panel under the steering column. anyone have any ideas?

    First why would you leave cincinati to go to denver the bengals are playing tom and st x is one step closer to bringing another ohio high school football state championship to cincinnati just like the mighty fighting colerain cardinals did last year. Anyway it could be the cruise controll switch located under the dash near the break pedal. If you are aware of the brake light switch it is the other switch i think it is white but i would check there.

    Thanks for the info. This could be the problem. I'll check it out after the Bengals game today.

    Check your brake lights pronto! They are probably not working either. When the brake light switch fails, the cruise control also stops working (most of the time)

    Brake lights are working. Cannot find any other switch,.
    Any other ideas ?
