The Saturn 3 litre is setup in FWD configuration, it has a different intake and I think camshafts too, along with that there are also some electronic tuning differences.

You'll find most parts for our engine works with the Saab 3.0 Turbo (FWD), Saturn 3.0 , and the CTS 3.2. They're all family.
