Replacing the Rear Main Seal

As much as I'm not looking forward to I have to change out my Rear Main Seal in my 98. After looking over the service manuals it looks like it's a pain in the butt to do. Is really as bad as it seems to be to replace the Rear Main Seal. Anybody else done one and have any tips or suggestions?? Thanks

I had it done on mine. I didn't want to do it because it involves dropping the tranmission and everything, all things that I didn't want to get involved in.
