Rear muffler ???

So, has anyone found a rear muffler for a Catera ?
I love the sound of the Remus mufflers but I cant find anything for the Cat/Omega online for a decent price so, maybe one of the universal types that would bring out the sound without the rice look ??
I'm sure I'm not the only one to think about a change and am hoping one of you has already gone through this.
I'm all ears.

I was going convert mine to dual exhaust and I was going to use 2 Magnaflow Stainless Steel mufflers. I haven't physically seen any Cateras with them but I've read a few different websites where they put them on their Cateras. They say it gives the Cateras a nice tone, but not loud. I'm going to "attempt" to attach a picture. Summitracing.com has them for $139.95 and Jegs.com has them for $139.99. I've ordered hundreds of dollars of stuff from both of them a few years back and they've both excellent. Part # for the muffler is 14830.

Hi,i am new on this website,(my first post), i am from England and have owned 4 Vauxhall OMEGAS, i have found from past experiance that the best exhaust(muffler) to have on the cetera/omega is to have one made to your own specification, i have the front and rear bumpers made by irmscher which in my opinion are better quality than stienmetz, the rear is a dual exit bumper and i had the exhaust made by a company called 'powerflow' any tone you want they can do!!, do you have this type of company over in the states?? chris..

It's gotta be expensive to have one sent from either the U.K. or South Africa...unless there's some dealers in the U.S.

NJ Cat,
that muffler in the picture would be something that would work for me but I would need a dual in/out model and a bit less chrome would be nice.
I was looking into 2 single round mufflers which I could mount side by side giving me a stockish look but all I have found so far is the big chrome junk that kids hang off of their Honda's.
My next step is to look at motorcycle mufflers. I have used them in the past on cars and it worked out pretty good, just a matter of finding the right one.
