Hey - whats that thingy do?

Hi Everyone...

Stupid interior question coming. I looked in the back seat of my 97 cat and noticed on the pass side there is a small black T handle sticking out from under the lower seat cushion. It is sticking out about 2 inches or so... and almost looks like a zip cord from a toy car.

I searched the manual but was unable to find anything... Does anyone know what it is... or did one of my kids stick a zip cord under my seat just to see how long it would take to drive Dad batty?

no that cord pulls the rear seat out there is another one on the other side also. I leave mine out but you can just tuck it under the seat if it bothers you.
