Re: Sunroof Switch

What is wrong with your switch? Have you tried reprograming the sun roof? If you disconnect the battery or run the battery down, you will need to reprogram the sun roof. The instructions are in the owners maunual. You would also need to program the windows for express function. To program the windows, press and hold the power window switch until the window is fully down. Continue holdng the switch for 3 seconds. Press and hold the window switch until the window is fully up. Continue holding the switch for 3 seconds. Repeat for the other windows.

Re: Sunroof Switch

The mechanic who checked the sunroof before I bought said the switch was bad and needed to be replaced...That switch costs $450 brand new....I have found a 97 Catera and want to know if I can take the switch from it to put in my 99 Catera....I tried reprogramming it but it does not work on mine,,,Thanks
