Radio shuts off ??

On my way to work yesterday my radio suddenly shut down. If I turn the key the radio comes on but as soon as I start the car it shuts down. The clock display doesnt come on. The AC and the temp is okay, its just the radio. Any Ideas, I don't even know where to begin to look??

Just in case you're wondering I got my radio fixed...looks like the wire under the steering wheel came undone. It works!

Can you describe wire under the steering wheel , like where exactly?

If it's not a loose wire, it's the A/C computer module that controls the radio, the trunk, the fuel door, the A/C controls and a few other ditties. It's $400 to replace at the Cadillac garage. (Just had it done at 68,000 miles).
