Door panel and the locking knob
My internal lock linkage is sticking, not allowing me to use my key in the door. When i take off the drivers door panel, all is pretty straight forward until i get to the the lock knob, which I cant get off, no I have just cracked the surrounding molding for the lock knob and am i mad...
How do you dissassemble the lock knob to remove the door panel?
please, a little help, i am unable to lock my car rigfht now.
another thing, buying the remotes through the dealer at 169.00 is way to expensive for a part that costs just above 5.oo. People sell them on Ebay for around 20, new. anyone know how to manually program these things without going to the dealer to have them programed?
98 Catera Driver...and yes I have had my fair share of problems with the car, but I still love it... Its a love hate relationship

Re: Door panel and the locking knob
Get a remote off ebay, and Ill find a website that tells you how to program... however, most of the time they will come with instructions.... Have someone here give you the FCCid number so that you dont inadvertently get the wrong one......
I cant help you about you door thing.....
