    fuse box question.

Does the Cateras have a box located under the rear seat?? I think the CTS's do but not sure if we do. Im asking because I took my car to mechanic to get diagnostic done to see y I was still getting the O2 sensor codes and I was told a fuse needed replacing that was apparently under the rear seat. I didn't think we had them. Anybody know if this is true?

    Re: fuse box question.

No. There are three fuse boxes.

One is under the steering wheel and has most of the fuses for the various circuits.

There is also a MaxiFuse/Relay Center on top of the battery.

An instrument panel fuse block on the passenger side High beams, hazard flashers, wipers, horn, etc).

In addition to the above, there is a relay center next to the battery. I noticed that relay 27 is marked oxygen exhaust sensor, not sure if that is the one you are after. Is is possible that that relay suppies the current to heat the O2 sensors. Since you are getting so many heated O2 circuit codes, that may be bad.

Search this forum for Catera owner's manual. Someone recently had a link to an online owner's manual which you will need.

I don't need a Manuel i have 3 of them. Im just wondering why the mechanic would say under rear seat is where he changed the fuse And I know they were back there because i had my crutches back there and they had been moved when i picked it up. I will have to call and find out Wat really happen then. Thanks investor
